This year for our last day of our firm's management retreat we focused a lot on charities and a little bit on public speaking. Local, world-wide, and everything in between; Dawn Brenner, our Managing Partner, thought up a wonderful idea to give each team member the opportunity to research a charity of their choice and present it to the rest of the firm. 

This year we were able to help spruce-up the Sacramento Children's Home, Cowell Center by adding a fresh coat of paint to its walls. 

In the end, we realized that we weren't very good painters, but we were honored to spend a few hours as a team and help out Sacramento Children's Home. 

They are such a wonderful organization that helps out so many children in the Sacramento Region.

Our mission could not be accomplished without the help of our generous donors and volunteers, as well as our dedicated leadership and auxiliary groups. Together, we are able to make a make a significant difference in the lives of 6,200 children and 4,600 families a year."

Each year, GBA team members and a significant other are invited to a three-day, two-night retreat. 

This year it was held at the beautiful and historic Mission Ranch in Carmel, California. Sitting on 22 acres, this 1800's hotel and restaurant is among some of the most beautiful rolling green hills and white beaches in California. It was such a great location to hold a retreat.

Our purpose each year is to provide each team member with an atmosphere of learning, openness, and transparency. At our firm, each team member has a voice and GBA values the opinions and ideas of the whole team. This year we walked away with great ideas and action plans to continue to ELEVATE our firm and the services we provide to our clients.

Not many company's in today's world get to celebrate their 55th year in business. 

There have been so many great memories made through out the years. We appreciate all the many clients we have been able to serve. 

To celebrate we decided to invite everyone to come to the office for some yummy hors d'oeuvres, drinks and friendly conversation. We recently expanded our office space to the suite next door, so it made perfect sense to hold the event here. We had a great turnout and enjoyed seeing many of our clients, family and friends. Here's to another 55 years in business!!
